How to make a referral

We accept referrals for children across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire for a variety of reasons from a number of avenues including social work, education, health professionals and third sector partners.

Reasons for referral can include but are not limited to:

Lack of a positive adult role model
Parental alcohol or substance misuse
Inconsistent parenting
Social isolation
Abuse
Behavioural problems

If you know of a child who would benefit from having a volunteer befriender or mentor, please download and fill in our referral form below.

Please note referrals to our intandem mentoring programme must come from social work and it is specifically for children who are looked after at home by their local authority.
